I like the concept!

But the lack of noise, and then suddenly, 'MRAWR!!!' That made me fricken bite my tongue!

Concept was awesome! You should take some time and really do some more work on this! Write a little bit more story and do a little more explaining (kinda like you said!^^) But yeah, this could totally work!
